World AIDS Day - 1 December 2003

AIDS is killing 8000 people a day. This is often through lack of access to condoms and quality reproductive health information and care. FPAID works to raise awareness and increase commitment to sexual and reproductive health programmes in Asia and the Pacific.

This year to mark World AIDS Day FPAID is seeking support for our home-based care project for people living with HIV/AIDS in Svay Rieng Province in Cambodia. Cambodia now has the highest HIV infection rate in Asia - every day 20 of its people die from the incurable disease.
